For five generations (from the late 19th century to today), the SEBASTIÁN PÉREZ ceramic company has worked clay by hand, keeping the ancestral making techniques entirely manual.
The wide variety of available formats offers the possibility of creating original and exclusive combinations with unique designs of great beauty and quality.
Thanks to this entirely artisanal and manual process, and the proven quality of its products, the company is the only one in its sector listed in the Register of Artisan Companies of the Region of Murcia under number EA-0008.00.

MORE THAN A CENTURY OF HISTORY
The SEBASTIÁN PÉREZ family has spent more than a century — five uninterrupted generations — making roof tiles, floor tiles and bricks entirely by hand, honouring the philosophy of those who came before us.
Today we still follow the same artisanal making process for the different pieces. We gather clay from our own quarry, and for firing we use fuel based on organic matter such as almond husk or olive stone.

1. Extracting the clay from our quarries.
Carried out a short distance from the workshop, with sustainable and environmentally respectful extraction.
2. Preparing the clay.
The clay is mixed with water and stirred until the desired consistency is achieved.
3. Forming the pieces.
Once the clay reaches its optimal point, it is spread, removed and washed within the various moulds.
4. Drying the pieces
Left to dry in the open air under specific conditions of temperature, ventilation and without direct sunlight.
5. Firing
Once dry, the piece is placed in the traditional kiln where it reaches temperatures of up to 1000°C.
6. Storing the pieces
Once fired, the pieces are sorted one by one for palletising.
7. Post-installation treatment
The final result can be enhanced with a subsequent treatment recommended by the company.
